Primate Labs has released Geekbench 6.7.1.
Last week we deployed Cloudflare to protect the Geekbench Browser from overzealous bots that were overloading the server. This solved the bot problem, but introduced another: Geekbench 6 for Android and Linux could no longer connect to the Geekbench Browser.
The connection issue was caused by an outdated version of LibreSSL bundled with Geekbench 6 for Android and Linux. Geekbench 6.7.1 updates LibreSSL and resolves the issue. Users on Windows, macOS, and iOS are unaffected, as Geekbench 6 uses different SSL libraries on those platforms. Other versions of Geekbench, including Geekbench AI and Geekbench 5, are also unaffected.
Geekbench 6.7.1 is a recommended update for all Android and Linux users.
